Moyes..
Starting to seriously think that Moyes has reached his limitations and a replacement should be considered.

He's taken us from side battling relegation every year to a very decent side easily in the top half now, but are we satisfied with that? I'm not. We should be pushing on and become a solid top 6 side with real aspirations to be a top 4 side. At the moment we are going to struggle to stay top 8 and on todays showing have no chance ion the FA cup or Europa league.

And thats not good enough.

Oh look a post on the match thread actually got a couple of replies so you thought you’d go for more attention and post exactly the same thoughts on a new thread.

Well here, have some attention

“ We should be pushing on and become a solid top 6 side with real aspirations to be a top 4 side.”

Is that not exactly what he’s delivered?

Who else do you think will do a better job?

I'm starting to think that you're an idiot.

Re: Moyes..
Moyes has his faults but then so does every manager & he has done an excellent job so far in my opinion.
He needs the players and funds to take us to that next level but considering the somewhat thin squad and limited options because of that to still be competing on three fronts at the end of February is an excellent effort.
Any new manager coming in would mean wholesale change & a transitional period which is the last thing we need.
Our strength at the monent is the settled dressing room
spirit & stability forged by Moyes and his staff which gives us an advantage in that respect over the likes of Man utd & Spurs with there unstable and volatile set ups.
They may have stronger squads but dont have the team spirit which is a leveller in my book.

100% agree, it’s time to sack Moyes.

If I was GSB I’d be on the phone to either Pulis or Allardyce to get them to save our season.

Can’t believe we missed out on Hodgson or Bruce.

Yep. All the top managers around the world are queuing up to manage the giant that is West Ham United.

Apart from the good ones of course.

When was the last time we had a manager that had us challenging for the Champions League two season in a row, Yarmouth?

he's overachieving despite the scumbag owners

He is frustrating at times with his substitutions but cut him some slack

Re: Moyes..
Any manager that could get us into being an established top 6 side would want/need to spend serious money and not just the sky money which the owners won’t do.

So Moyes is the best choice under these owners EOT…..

Re: Moyes..
He has definitely overachieved and a top ten finish wouldn’t be a bad season considering we made the round of 16 in the Europa.

It would however, be his own failing in not taking an opportunity - as he did in the previous January window - to keep the momentum up.

Although it’s arguably his failing in the summer window that has proved as costly as January. Both Kral and Vlasic haven’t really improved us at all despite the mantra of only adding useful quality. But that’s a common problem for almost all clubs every season.

I think the main goal for Moyes now is to do well enough to keep Rice as long as he can. If and when we lose him I think the team will deteriorate quickly.

Re: Moyes..
He's a yes-man.

But, given GSB only knowingly appoint yes-men, you have to ask if there are better managers who are yes-men out there.

I think the answer is no.

If the Moyes worm ever turned before GSB fucked off, and fucked off himself*, we'd be worse off.

*this is a danger, now he's rehabilitated his reputation, though his work with us

Re: Moyes..
Not sure he really is a yes man. He has had as free a reign as any manager under these lot, and hasn’t seemingly been saddled with Sullivan punts as squad fillers. He has also cost the club a fortune in writing off our two most expensive players for a small percentage of what we paid.

Re: Moyes..
First spell he might have been a yes man but second spell no way.

Texas Iron 2:44 Sun Feb 20
Re: Moyes..
Definitely not a top tier manager…if he was he would have been off after no investment in the squad…

They are all knackered it’s obvious with such a thin squad due to too many games…no rotation options…

Antoni as the lone striker is absurd…

gph 2:49 Sun Feb 20
Re: Moyes..
He's more a yes-man the second time around.

Shouldering the blame for our failed January transfer window is craven.

I refuse to believe he really couldn't see that our squad needed strengthening, even if he couldn't strengthen the first choice players.

FFS, even Nutsin could see that.
